The most recent piece, There Are No Spices in Caucasia, details a bit of my personal evolution story, and names the importance of us telling our stories aloud. What we know to be true is that the story of the hunt is only ever told by the hunter and never by the lion, and we’ve got to change that. There are narratives of individuals, communities, and entire societies that are looking to be wiped from human history by ‘hunters’ and we have to get serious about elevating those stories AND our voice for their preservation and the perservation our humanity.
